Before founding Dharsi Wellness, Zakiya spent several years in Corporate Fundraising, supporting organisations with their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Her passion for mindfulness grew through her personal practice, which revealed the powerful impact mindfulness can have on achieving a stress resilient body and mind. These insights inspired Zakiya to help senior management and employees thrive in the workplace.
With a solid foundation in mindfulness, stress management, and wellbeing practices, Zakiya works with various industries, including finance, insurance, and corporate wellbeing brands. Drawing upon the latest neuroscience research, she designs bespoke wellbeing programs tailored to each organisation’s unique needs and values.
Zakiya’s services include keynote speeches for conferences, workshops for awareness days, sedentary-based movement practices, mindfulness and meditation programmes and well-being talks aimed at enhancing both personal and professional well-being.
Zakiya’s approach is holistic, combining mindfulness, movement, stress management, and resilience-building practices to optimise both individual and team performance. Each plan is carefully crafted to align with your organisation’s goals and values while fostering a culture of wellbeing that supports employee engagement and resilience.
After an initial consultation, a customised “Well-being at Work” plan will be developed to meet the specific needs of your team and organisation, drawing on cutting-edge neuroscience to ensure maximum impact.
